Of interest...

I came upon a great book that I am reading and just enjoying immensely. It's called The Vatican: Secrets and Treasures of the Holy City by Father Michael Collins. You want great architecture, treasures and taboo? This book has it all.

New Drawings

Here's a drawing that I've done in the recent months...

It's me again!

After some moving about, I'm back...working on a lot of new drawings, sold A LOT of paintings...need to build up my body of work.

I'm entering some new paintings into a religious art competition, so keep your fingers crossed! Anyway, that's all for now...stay posted, I'm going to put up some drawings soon. Thanks!

2009 Annual Summer smART Show

Well, after a long weekend, it's finally over. Lots of foot traffic, interesting people, and VERY good feedback on my work. People really liked my new works (as well as old) and even had a few sales.

So, a big 'thank you' to all who made it out! Hope to see you again soon! Aristeo

I'm starting to get the majority of her face done. Someone asked what the medium was...it's just pen...a 0.5 roller ball pen.

Warm Weather

Well, it was a gorgeous day and instead of sitting inside the house, I decided to stroll around Lincoln Park Zoo and enjoy the sun and wind. Just walking around refuels your creativity!

New Book...coming soon!

Here are images from my new book that I am creating on Blurb.com - Who I Am and What I Am About

Pics from Past Shows - Black Walnut Gallery

Had another group show appearance at the Robert Wayner/Black Walnut Gallery.

** BeBe Painting**

I got tired of doing large paintings, so to do a small painting was a relief. The canvas is 9 x 12 and the baby is making a face...a bit distorted, but still very cute.

New Painting - From the Rib of Adam

Here's a new painting that I just finished. It's 48 x 48 and it took a long time to get the curl effect...
